About Amanda Brown
Welcome, I’m Amanda! I’ve been a hairstylist since 2001 and specialize in French haircutting, French balayage, and Great Lengths extensions. Techniques that create beautiful, natural-looking hair that grows out effortlessly and fits into real life.
I work one-on-one, by appointment only. I don’t double book, and your appointment is intentionally unrushed and completely focused on you. Some guests come in to relax and enjoy the quiet, others bring their laptop and catch up on work either way, the experience is calm, private, and designed around your time.
I’ve trained and certified with some incredible educators over the years, including Dessange in Paris, France The Jamison Shaw Academy in Atlanta, Great Lengths, and the Sunlights Artisan Team and mentor with Beauty Changes Lives (where I also get to help teach other stylists). Continuing education is important to me, because I believe you deserve results that are current and youthful.
My goal is for every guest to leave feeling refreshed, confident, and genuinely taken care of. I take the time to listen and create a look that’s customized to your lifestyle, your features, and the integrity of your hair, not just what’s trending.
When I’m not in the salon, I’m usually spending time with friends, traveling, listening to music, supporting local Michigan businesses, and trying to balance a healthy lifestyle with my love for tacos and tequila.
