About Dani Emery
My name is Dani, and welcome to my space! I’m a modern low maintenance color and grey blending specialist in Puyallup, WA.
My hair journey began in 2013 where I attended a running start program through my high school. I graduated from beauty school one week after graduating from high school. After beauty school, I had an incredible opportunity to apprentice under a retired celebrity stylist and platform artist. By 21, I took a leap of faith and started my independent stylist business.
Beyond the chair, I have a deep love for travel and dream of one day setting foot in all seven continents. I’m a proud cat mom of three, an avid gardener, and lover of house plants, reading, painting, and crochet. I cherish peaceful walks while listening to birds sing.
More than anything, I’m extremely passionate about helping people feel their absolute best. It’s an honor to play a small role in my clients’ lives, and I truly love what I do. I would love the opportunity to have you in my chair and create something beautiful together!

Dani is just great! I recently booked her service for an "emergency" haircut. I had been looking for someone closer to home that was amazing. I found Dani (hairy odd mother), through a google search specifically for people who do alternative haircuts in puyallup! If you are from around here and you have more of an alternative or soft alternative style, you know it can be a little difficult finding what you need. I was also nervous as it was my first haircut in over a year. I am also nervous when it comes to finding a new stylist as my hair texture and density I don't see featured often in portfolios. I explained what I wanted and they did exactly that, offered tips to help me reach my hair goals and they also have a lot of retail products in their studio. I will definitely be coming back. I am so happy!

Not only is she incredibly talented, but she is a great listener and always lets me vent when I need it; it's therapy. I see Dani for everything- full color and cut every time- she always nails it. My hair has never been healthier, and I always leave feeling beautiful with my hair just the way I want it- but always better than I imagined. Dani is so knowledgable and caring that she said no to me when I wanted half of my hair green and half black. We went dark brown and lime green because the black wouldn't be forgiving on my light brown hair. It looked AMAZING!!
